Eleanor Foundation Elects Robin L. Wolkoff to Board of Directors

(22 Oct 2009) - The Eleanor Foundation, a public grantmaking institution that advances working women’s economic security, elected Robin L. Wolkoff to its Board of Directors. Wolkoff is an attorney and capital partner at Fox, Hefter, Swibel, Levin & Carroll LLP, where she practices in the areas of business litigation and business counseling.

“We are thrilled to have Robin join us,” said Rosanna A. Márquez, Foundation President and CEO. “Her intellect, passion and perspective will add mightily to an already high-functioning Board.”

“As a single working mother of three daughters, I believe in the Eleanor Foundation’s mission of helping working women determined to achieve economic self-sufficiency,” said Wolkoff. “I recognize the impact of my own education and career opportunities, and want to meaningfully give back to the community of women that the Foundation serves.” 

Wolkoff received her undergraduate degree with highest honors from the University of Illinois, and her juris doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law. Her previous philanthropic endeavors include serving on the Board of Trustees for Chiaravalle Montessori School in Evanston, IL.
